1984 in 1949

Open Culture has posted the original 1949 radio play adaptation of 1984, starring David Niven. Told, curiously, in the second person. Very cool, though necessarily abridged.

Update: Fortuitous timing. “Alphabet”. I wonder what B.B. stands for.
